From the month of October until November, Cardiff City played a total of 4 League Two home matches with all of them ending in victories for the team of Russell Slade but their latest home game was played against Rotherham in a match that concluded with a goal-less draw and supporters of the home team were disgusted by the result and the performances that the players of Cardiff City displayed.
The goal-less draw match between Cardiff City and Rotherham was played on December which finished off with supporters of the home side booing their team.
Ben Turner is a defender of Cardiff City and he stated that it’s up to the players to try and lift the spirits of the squad and their fans as the club is going through a number of problems outside of the pitch.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked not too long ago due to a string of negative results, Vincent Tan is going through a series of problems with the former coach of Cardiff City, Malky Mackay and there are other issues that are going on which seems to have affected the supporters of the Championship League club who are starting to boo at their own players.
The 26 year old English defender of Cardiff City Ben Turner believes that it’s in the responsibility of him and his teammates to start lifting the hope of their supporters.
“We were booed, but it’s difficult because how the fans are feeling is more than just about the 11 blokes they are watching. For me it has to be about what is happening on the pitch and the more support we get the better it is. Hopefully we will be cheered off next time. It’s up to us to get the crowd going, but it’s a different atmosphere to how it was when we were promoted last time’’ Cardiff City’s Ben Turner said.
